• Spoke on the EU AI Act Podcast about general-purpose AI and systemic risks, August 2024.
• Awarded a Ronald Coase Fellowship by The Marcatus Center at George Mason University for the 2024-2025 academic year, May 2024. 
• Spoke on a panel about AI and ethics at the LSE Data Science Institute event The AI Revolution and Future of Data Science’, April 2024.  
• Gave a talk at KU Leuven about operationalizing general-purpose AI in the EU AI Act, February 2024.

• Was selected as a fellow in the International Strategy Forum hosted by Schmidt Futures, a nonprofit by ex-CEO of Google Eric Schmidt, in partnership with European Council on Foreign Relations, June 2022.
• Gave a talk to European Parliament assistants about general purpose AI systems and the EU AI Act, May 2022. 
• Spoke (in Estonian) about a career in AI policy in Europe on a podcast, December 2021.
• Gave a guest lecture to Estonian Business School students on the topic of European AI regulations and ethics guidelines, April 2021.
• Won the Global Priorities Fellowship awarded by the Forethought Foundation for Global Priorities Research, March 2021.
• Won the Estonian-Revelia Academic Fund Scholarship for academic success, November 2019.
• Gave an interview about effective altruism, September 2019.
• Won the Scholarship by Estonian Students Fund in USA for academic and personal success, May 2019.
• Won the Tallinn University Scholarship Recognising Civic Participation, March 2019.
• Moderated a panel discussion about the malicious use of artificial intelligence with Jaan Tallinn, the founder of Skype, March 2019.
• Started an effective altruism podcast in Estonian, February 2019.
• Joined the committee of Jaan Tallinn Scholarship to assess candidates wanting to participate in the rationality workshop organized by the Center for Applied Rationality.
• Took the Giving What We Can pledge and try to donate as much as possible to the most effective charities in the world, November 2018.
• Gave a talk at Effective Altruism Global: London, October 2018.
• Was selected to participate at the AI Safety Camp for research, October 2018.
